How does BT-7274 represent humility in his identity?

Titanfall 2 is an incredible game which took the FPS genre to a whole other level. Titanfall 2 gave the player the ability to work with a ‘mech’ to take down any enemy in your path. However it wasn't just the fire power which made this game an incredible experience, it was the ‘mech’s’ identity. Titanfall 2 was created in 2016 by Respawn Entertainment and was made to be a multiplayer game which also featured a campaign. In the campaign you play as Jack Cooper who was formerly a rifleman, who then becomes a pilot of a ‘mech’ by the name of BT-7274 (who goes by BT). BT is a fantastic display of identity because slowly throughout the story his identity starts to change and he slowly gains more humility. When you first meet BT, he's heavily damaged due to a fight which was had in front of your eyes that resulted in BT’s former pilot dying. Once BT is repaired, you begin the linking process (a process which connects both the pilot and the ‘mech’ on a conscious level) and soon after he says “Protocol 1: Link to the Lilot , Protocol 2: Uphold the Mission, Protocol 3: keep the pilot safe” (Titanfall 2), and then later on into the future right before BT sacrifices himself, he then says: “Protocol 3: I will NOT lose another pilot” (Titanfall 2). This quote shows that as you progress through the game BT begins to care for Jack, and even goes as far as changing his own code to rewrite his protocols. BT also says: “It is good to finally see you again pilot, I was beginning to get worried” (Titanfall 2) this quote furthermore proves the fact that BT gains humility and even compassion, showing he was worried for Jack after being separated.
